Getting Here & Parking

The Athenry AC Half Marathon & 10K starts and finishes in Athenry. This is a change from previous years when the race took place in Monivea. Race headquarters will be in the gym at Clarin College.

Pacers

Pacers at the Athenry AC Half Marathon
There will be pacers for 40/50/60 minutes in the 10K and 1:30/1:40/1:50/2:00 in the half marathon. The pacers will be easily identifiable at the start line and will run a consistent even pace throughout the race. They will cross the finish line a few seconds before their target time.

Water Stations

There will be 2 water stations on the 10k route and 4 water stations on the half marathon route, with water also available at the finish line.
